Kaynes Technology India Ltd., a leading electronics manufacturing and IoT solutions company, operates a 70 KLD Sewage Treatment Plant at its Mysuru facility. Like many manufacturing-sector STPs, the plant ran on manual monitoring and fixed operational schedules — four operators managing aeration, pumping, and sludge handling by hand, with no real-time data to guide decisions. Energy consumption was higher than necessary, and plant performance varied with operator availability and judgment.
Challenge

Solution

Load-based aeration control replaced fixed schedules, adjusting dynamically to actual influent conditions.
